Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Stubs (“Stubs”, “we”) handles information on this website and in the Stubs pilot. We follow the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173) and the guidance of the National Privacy Commission.

Pilot mode

The public pilot uses preloaded demonstration accounts and simulated funds. You do not need to create an account or provide a password, and no real payment, bank, or government ID information is collected. Please do not enter real personal information into the demo forms.

Information we process

  • Demo activity. Actions you take in the pilot (for example votes, invoices, volunteer sign-ups, and gratitude messages) are stored so the demo works across roles. Demo data is reset regularly.
  • Voice notes. If you record a gratitude voice note in the beneficiary demo, the recording is stored and played back to demo donor accounts. It is deleted when the demo resets.
  • Technical data. Our hosting provider records standard server logs such as IP address, browser type, and request time, used only for security and reliability.
  • Messages to us. If you email us, we use your message and contact details only to reply.

How we protect it

Data is encrypted in transit. Access is limited to people who operate the service. We do not sell personal information or use it for advertising, and the pilot does not use third-party tracking cookies.

Beneficiary privacy by design

In the Stubs model, donors see only pseudonymous aliases. Beneficiary names, contact details, and eligibility records are never shown to donors, merchants, or community volunteers.

Your rights

Under the Data Privacy Act you may ask to be informed about, access, correct, object to the processing of, or erase your personal data, and you may file a complaint with the National Privacy Commission. To make a request, email admin@stubsph.com.

Changes

We will update this page when our practices change, including before any live financial services launch, and will revise the date above.
