The problem
Help often arrives as cash or relief goods with little visibility for donors, little choice for the people receiving it, and little benefit to the neighborhood stores that already serve them. Community projects compete for attention rather than for evidence of need.
What we are building
- Verified needs. App volunteers and administrators review applications, merchants, and projects before any support moves.
- Protected purchases. Beneficiaries spend funded benefits at approved local merchants through a one-time signed QR that they must confirm.
- Traceable giving. Donors follow each pooled contribution from allocation to use, and can receive pseudonymous gratitude without exposing anyone's identity.
- Community-chosen projects. Each quarter, verified beneficiaries and donors vote on the next community project; volunteers help deliver it.
Where we are
Stubs is in its pilot stage. The public site runs an integrated working pilot with simulated accounts and funds so partners can try every role end to end. No live financial settlement happens in pilot mode.
